About Breathe & Be You

Having worked in both education and social care for many years I decided to combine my love of working with the public and yoga. I work in schools, organisations and the community, with children and their families, and staff. I use yoga and mindfulness extensively to support children with their special educational, emotional wellbeing and mental health needs. I am committed to meeting children where they are, supporting them to develop skills to live in a demanding society and giving them the opportunity to 'just be.' I also offer family yoga and mindfulness classes.

Tracey Lysaght (ERYT500, RCYT, YACEP, SYT, Children’s Yoga Therapist)

I am a busy working mum of two girls who has worked in nursing, social care and education for the past 20+ years. I have undertaken training with Special Yoga London, Advanced Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training with Seasonal Yoga Glasgow and more recently the pioneering Yoga Therapy for Children with the British Psychological Society. I am also a mindfulness teacher trained with both Mindfulness in Schools Project and Bangor University. 


I am a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK, an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher 500Hrs, a Registered Children's Yoga Teacher and a Continuing Education Provider with the Yoga Alliance International

Join us on our 6 day Foundation Training, accredited with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK, which will equip you with a toolkit of skills, allowing you to share this life-changing practice whilst meeting children where they are, supporting them to develop skills to live in a demanding society and giving them the opportunity to 'just be.'

One to One & Family Work

I am available to work with children and their families in the comfort of their own homes or a mutually arranged safe space. We will explore yoga and mindfulness to equip family members to become more attuned to themselves and each other (the definition of attunement is the act of making harmonious.)

Yoga Classes

Why does yoga work for children? For very much the same reason as it does for adults! Lots of children these days are over stimulated, with busy schedules and becoming ever more aware of the targets expected of them in school. My yoga classes for children are fun, creative and engaging whilst providing the opportunity for children to experience being grounded in both body and mind. We stretch and work on core strength, lengthening muscle groups such as the hamstrings which become tight at a very early age (sitting at desks etc) but we also work on the difficult skill of relaxing, being still and being allowed to 'just be' ...no expectation, no pressure, no judgement.
